History

 

The Hall family have been involved in the building & construction industry since prior to the 1850s.

C S Hall (Simons great grandfather) commenced business as C S Hall Builders & joinery upon his return from war service in World War I undertaking various projects throughout northern England.

The business was joined by his son, C T Hall (Simons grandfather) who completed his apprenticeship prior to his call up service for World War II. Business recommenced in 1951 where it undertook concrete formwork contracts & general building work.

In 1965 C S Hall & Son was joined by Charles Hall, (Simons father) as an apprentice carpenter & joiner and later became a builder himself, changing the name to H K Constructions in the 1970s.

In 1989 after spending time with his uncle Cliff Hall who had relocated to Melbourne Australia in 1987 and set up his  fast growing building business www.hallburyhomes.com.au simon returned to the UK and served his apprenticeship with his father Charles Hall and spent the next 15 years working as father and son. In 1994 Simon continued the business as a sole trader and has been providing a service to a much valued long list of returning custom as well as new customers who come through recommendations.
